J.Alberto is named after Han's former wife Noemia´s cousin and father respectfully. It is made from a single vineyard of 4.5ha planted in 1955 on its own roots. 95% malbec and 5% merlot. Soils are gravelly, clay, sandy and loamy. Pretty floral aromas, graceful old vine texture, and fresh linear palate.Matured for 18 months in a mix of concrete tanks, 600l and 225l barrels and some ceramic vats.
