Chardonnay Beton, Kamil Barczentewicz 2023

5.000000000 star rating 1 Reviews
Kamil Barczentewicz is part of the new generation of winemakers in Poland making their mark. With only 12 hectares in south east Poland on limestone slopes, he started making wine in 2017 and is starting to get recognition for his bright, pure and well-balanced wines. Aged in concrete eggs, this chardonnay has so much texture and finesse and is a real star of his line up, with lots of saltiness, white blossom and citrus hints. It's a true delight to drink.

Racy, lively and definitely Chardonnay. Better than the Pinot Noir! Great price and a great choice for a blind tasting. So cool and refreshing. JancisRobinson.com

Gulp and Sniff

The bottle I would most urge everyone to try is a chardonnay from Poland: Kamil Barczentewicz Chardonnay Beton 2023 is a beautiful wine: pristine, light on its feet, precise, gently floral.
