Chateau Musar 2018

0 star rating 0 Reviews
A blend of equal parts cabernet sauvignon, cinsault and carignan, the 2018 vintage of this Lebanese icon is vibrant and instantly appealing. It exudes ripe, red and black berry fruits and plum notes combined with complex layers of coffee, as well as sweet and savoury spice. There is a smokiness and attractive volatile lift that is almost synonymous with Chateau Musar. The tannins provide great structure, yet the wine has perfect balance, providing great accessibility. Chateau Musar`s winemaker Tarek Sakr believes that the 2018 vintage is much more approachable in style than previous vintages, making it a wine that is ready to drink now. Drink from 2024 to 2035.

The multilayered, sweetly spiced, ethereally long-finishing Lebanese red of Château Musar is just the thing.
