Produced from sauvignon blanc grown in south-west France, this is a smart option for alcohol free evenings. Our low and no buyer found it one of the most refined and honest examples tasted so far, showing real progress from Chavin with clear varietal character and an elegant style. The nose offers mellow orchard fruit, gently baked gooseberry and a light brioche note from bâtonnage, with no artificially added aromas. The palate has genuine structure, fresh focused acidity and a rounded mid palate that keeps the modest residual sugar discreet. Stone fruit, a hint of lemongrass and a lemon zest finish complete a convincing alcohol free white at the forefront of the category. Surprisingly smart!
