A new Fontodi release for us, in a fantastic vintage. A refined and expressive Gran Selezione from Fontodi’s Lamole vineyard, combining sweet red-berry and red-cherry fruit with lifted violet and floral notes. Hints of wild herbs, cedar and crushed stone add complexity. Elegant yet firmly structured, with fine tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, mineral finish. Best decanted if uncorked in youth, it will age gracefully over many years.
