The Viale brothers make some of the best Crozes-Hermitage; a decision to no longer sell all their grapes in the early 90s has more than paid off. A mix of oak ageing that gives spice and tannic grip, and cement that produces perfume and crunchy fruit. Immediate enjoyment from the attractive aromas, but with enough tannin grip that will allow development in bottle. Drink from 2026 to 2032. 13%
