‘Stunning white Burgundy. Incredible. Everything you could want. So classic, and really well-handled oak.’ This was the verdict of one of our 2026 Wine Champions blind tasters, where this wine put in a showstopping performance in a highly competitive chardonnay line-up. Saint-Aubin is thriving, with its best hillside wines ripening beautifully as temperatures warm. The resultant wines are, according to Burgundy buyer Toby Morrhall, ‘now better than lesser Puligny sites.’ Superb.
