Dornfelder Trocken, Anselmann 2024

0 star rating 0 Reviews
Siblings Gerd, Ralf, Eva and Ruth Anselman oversee the family business together with their mother Inge, managing one of the largest wine estates in Germany from the town of Edesheim, south-west of Heidelberg. The wine's deep purple colour is striking and the bright, crisp fruits and the fresh acidity produces an energetic red. Plenty of blueberry and spice.

Anselmann

The Anselmann family own 130 hectares of vineyards in the Pfalz (aka Palatinate) region of Germany and have a heritage in the area that can be documented as far back as the early 12th century. Today siblings Gerd, Ralf, Eva and Ruth oversee the business together with their mother Inge, managing one of the largest wine estates in Germany from the town of Edesheim, south-west of Heidelberg.

The vineyards are planted with cabernet sauvignon, dornfelder and spätburgunder for red wines and riesling for whites, but they also produce sparkling wines, brandy and liqueurs.
