English Summer Sparkling Case
Wines included
Nyetimber Classic Cuvée Brut NV
Nyetimber's multi-vintage wine is a full-flavoured, savoury standard-bearer. Predominantly chardonnay alongside pinots noir and meunier, the blend is aged for more than three years on its yeast lees to add extra complexity and class.
The Grange, Hampshire Classic Brut NV
Hampshire`s The Grange flies the flag for England consistently in our Wine Champions blind tastings, and the current bottling is on remarkable form. ‘Finesse` and ‘class` were consistent tasting-note watchwords, with one 2024 taster describing it as ‘awesome, refined and generous: a classic.`
Ridgeview Fitzrovia Rosé NV
Cheerful yet elegant English sparkling rosé produced by Society favourites, Ridgeview. The nose offers cherry, strawberry and peach notes whilst the full, rich palate is brimming with strawberry tart and redcurrant flavours with enough weight to stand up to all manner of picnic nibbles.
The Society's Exhibition English Sparkling Wine NV
A Wine Champion this year hailed for its ‘impressive aromatics and really good acidity’, this chardonnay-dominant blend produced for us by Ridgeview is on captivating form, and the ideal bottle to enjoy during an English sporting summer, with or without strawberries and cream! Expect fresh, taut citrus and apple fruit complemented by spot-hitting savoury brioche notes.
Camel Valley Pinot Noir Rosé Brut 2019
Elegant and eminently drinkable pinot noir rosé from the masters of the style and the only UK winery to hold a Royal Warrant, Camel Valley. A distinctive traditional-method sparkling wine showing generous wild strawberry and raspberries on the palate whilst also providing freshness and structure. A year-round rosé fizz from the south-west of England.
Raimes Blanc de Blancs, Hampshire 2016
Incredibly taut and citrus-driven 100% chardonnay from the wonderful Raimes family in Hampshire. Partially fermented in barrel, this wine undergoes 42 months lees ageing to bring body and complexity to the lemon curd and toast notes. Delicious and mineral now but it will age wonderfully and gain weight and richness over time.
