Evening Land Eola-Amity Hills Oregon Chardonnay 2023

White Wine from USA - Oregon
0 star rating 0 Reviews
This is the inaugural release of this cuvée, drawn entirely from estate vineyards in Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills, where chardonnay has been grown since 1984. The cooler, higher-elevation east-facing slopes of Seven Springs deliver naturally bright acidity alongside ripe, golden fruit expression. The chardonnay is expertly farmed by vineyard manager Netanya Welch, with winemaking led by Sashi Moorman, continuing a philosophy of purity and site transparency first shaped at the estate under Dominique Lafon’s early guidance. Fermentation takes place in a combination of barriques and puncheons, followed by 11 months’ lees ageing and a further five months in stainless steel, building subtle texture while preserving freshness and precision. Drink this year to 2028. 13.8%
