Weingut Jülg
This is a family estate based in the southern Palatinate, right on the border with Alsace. Indeed, the border as it was finally drawn in 1945 actually cuts through their vineyards so that half of their vines are actually in France and overlook the lovely Alsace town of Wissembourg! The wine styles here reflect all that is best in today's Germany: dry, fruity wines from a raft of different grape varieties.

Gewürztraminer’s juicy fruit and floral aromas are a great foil to Asian dishes.

This tastes quite sweet, but nicely balanced! Correct. JancisRobinson.com

Lean, clean and polished with pristine freshness, it’s electrifyingly zesty with a scented spark of bright ginger. Just the ticket for fragrant autumnal sipping and also pairs sublimely with hoisin duck.
