Château Clos Fourtet can be found on the outskirts of the village of Saint-Émilion itself, at a place where limestone makes up a significant proportion of the terroir. This is the château's second wine, though it enjoys similar care and attention in the making as the grand vin, and in the excellent 2019 vintage balances richness of fruit with freshness from the limestone in delightful poise.
