Made from the fendant, or chasselas, which is so typical of Swiss wines, this round, lightly herby, grapy and appetising white comes from the village of Epesses, close to Lausanne. Try it with fondue, raclette or other cheeses, with or without holes!

Blaise Duboux
This is one of the top estates in the Vaud district of Switzerland, planted on very steep slopes that overlook Lake Geneva. The lake incidentally plays a pivital role here acting as a source of heat and a climate regulator allowing grapes to attain perfect ripeness after a long growing season. The estate goes back some 500 years and Blaise represents the 17th generation of his family to cultivate vines on these hallowed slopes.
