A Châteauneuf of exceptional quality and from an estate of historical importance, now owned by the Guigal family. From the Le Crau plot, and based on grenache, with a generous dollop of syrah, along with mourvèdre, counoise and vacarèse, this is concentrated, luscious and richly flavoured after lengthy ageing in large oak foudres.
