Minimalist Connect the Dots Syrah, Western Cape 2022
Finding great syrah vineyards in the right place is increasingly challenging and, in 2019, Sam Lambson was gutted to discover that two of the Elgin vineyards from which he sourced grapes had been lost to apple production. As a first step in Sam's commitment to keep syrah vines in the ground, he's leased a small parcel of land in the Elgin Valley at Niemandsrivier, which is where 89% of the grapes for this wine were sourced.
