For lovers of fine Burgundy, this is a superb, saline Galician white from the up-and-coming Virgen de Galir estate, their top, single-parcel expression of godello grown on the slate slopes of Éntoma. It’s got incredible texture and energy beneath the bright verbena lemon and subtle lemongrass flavours, with mineral petrichor energy and concentration and a very long finish. It is delicious now, but will also age over time.
