Red Wine from France - Rhone
This is a new grower to our Rhône range, but the Marsanne family have been grape growers for many generations and only in the 1970s did they stop selling the grapes to other wineries and bottled under their own label. They have some of the most highly sought after vineyards in the Saint-Joseph appellation, on the steep slopes in Mauves. The 2023 is bright, appealing and juicy with lots of spice and chalky, fine tannins. This red is extremely well made and delicious to drink.
