From the great Scharzhofberger vineyard in the Saar and from an exceptional vintage. This is one of the most prized vineyard sites in Germany and can produce some of the most expensive white wines in the world. The steep, grey slate vineyard produces wine with structure, concentration and minerality. Fresh and dried apricots, ginger, candied peel and fleshy peach notes combine with a balanced palate of racy acidity and a juicy palate of sweetness.
