The Society's Exhibition Valdeorras Godello 2025
White Wine from Spain - Galicia & Bierzo
Sourced from the most inland and eastern of Galicia’s DOs, we're delighted to offer the second vintage of this Exhibition bottling, blended by renowned winemaker Jorge Navascués of Contino, who also leads the winemaking at the rising-star estate Virgen de Galir in Valdeorras. This exclusive blend includes a small proportion of fruit from the highly acclaimed Regueirón single vineyard and is grown on slate-rich soils, lending the wine impressive freshness, complexity and mineral character. Layered and expressive, it combines notes of lemon and white peach with stony minerality and godello’s hallmark creamy texture and weight, all balanced by precise acidity and freshness. For chardonnay lovers, it bears a striking resemblance to a well-made Mâcon, offering both richness and finesse in equal measure.
