White Wine from South Africa - Olifants River
Lukas van Loggerenberg made this year’s Tierhoek collaboration chenin from the estate’s highly sought-after old Piekenierskloof vines. By way of thanks for producing these wines, Lukas takes a portion of the fruit to use in his own blends, and the quality of his latest 'Trust Your Gut' chenin blanc shows that he was the ideal candidate for the 2025 vintage. Taut, concentrated, citrus-driven and gorgeously complex and long this chenin is slightly insular currently and will benefit from at least another four or five years in bottle before it'll be at its best. Drink from 2028 to 2035. 13%
