White Wine from South Africa - Breede River Valley
Yvonne Lester is chardonnay royalty in South Africa. Having previously worked for Rupert and Rothschild she's decided to go it alone, and has had her eyes on Robertson's legendary Kweekkamp vineyard (owned by Mont Blois) for some time. Sourcing grapes exclusively from this limestone site she's put her own stamp on it producing an intense and elegant chardonnay with a pure, citrus core providing great length and layers of spicy oak. An impressive chardonnay that will age exceptionally well.
