Laris Ribolla Gialla, Venezia Giulia 2025
Fresh and finely balanced, this ribolla gialla offers delicate aromas of citrus peel, green apple and white flowers. The palate is crisp and precise, with lively acidity, a subtle mineral note and a clean, gently saline finish. Light, refreshing and thoroughly drinkable, it is ideal as an aperitif or with simply prepared seafood.
Simonsig Jamala Gewürztraminer, Coastal Region 2025
Simonsig are one of very few Cape producers who champion gewürztraminer, first planted on the farm in 1973, with their Jamala bottling - a lovely, typical and excellent value example of this perfumed grape. Sourced from their own estate as well as from trusted growers (they simply don't have enough on the farm to fulfil demand), this is off-dry in feel with a tangy orange freshness tempering the sweetness. Scented with classic rose petal aromas, there is a zesty lemon and grapefruit character too, making this a dream with citrussy-based sauces as well as Thai-influenced cuisine.
Vilana, Lyrarakis, Crete 2025
Vilana is a native grape of Crete and produces light, herbaceous and mineral white wines. Here Lyrarakis have utilised a short time macerating on the skins to develop texture and grip on the palate alongside flavours of orange blossom, pear and apple.
Terra Santa Blanc, IGP Ile de Beauté 2025
This wonderfully crisp dry white from the east coast of Corsica is highly drinkable. Made from 100% vermentinu, a variety that thrives in the coastal Mediterranean climate, it makes a perfect warm weather aperitif, but also matches a wide array of dishes including white fish, seafood and salads.
Vinha da Alvorinha Branco, Alentejano 2024
A cunning white blend from the Alentejo region south east of Lisbon. Made up of Arinto, bringing zesty citrus character and focus, alvarinho for stone fruit flavours and viognier for a little extra body and aromatic generosity. This has real energy, generosity and freshness and is a pure, easy-drinking white which combines good breadth of flavour with structure and a flavours of lime, apples and a fresh mineral profile.
