Made from 80- to 100-year-old vines, this is pure tannat. Black, intense and concentrated with great length of flavour, this spends three years ageing in 100% new oak barrels. Brilliant in its fruit and intensity. Savoury, juicy and richly flavoured with a purposeful, tannic structure to benefit long ageing. Drink from 2029 to 2040. 13.5%

An outstanding vintage for the white from Montus, this is 100% petit courbu, fermented and aged for two years in mainly new oak barrels. Intense and concentrated, yet with mouthwatering freshness, this will evolve beautifully in bottle. The wine reveals notes of lemon zest and honeysuckle, with a long, creamy finish. Unquestionably one of the great whites of south-west France. Drink from 2028 to 2034. 14%

A superb Montus, the 2025 is scented and pure, revealing notes of violets and damsons on the nose. The texture is generous, with well-judged tannins and impressive fruit density giving an overwhelming impression of controlled power. Long and very lovely this will develop into a classic. Drink from 2029 to 2040. 13.5%

A lovely, fragrant Bouscassé this year, with the one-third perfectly ripe cabernet franc lending energy to the wine. With a bouquet of blue fruits and brambles this is a wine with impressive finesse that will provide many years of drinking pleasure. Due to the concentration of the 2025, winemaker Antoine Veiry has upped the percentage of new oak. It will be bottled after spending three years in wood. Drink from 2028 to 2039. 13.5%
