Château Durfort-Vivens, Margaux 2025

Code: CM34591
Red
Under the ownership of Gonzague Lurton, Durfort-Vivens has always been very much its own style. This organic and biodynamic property continues to increase the use of amphorae in the cellar in order to continue the unique fruit-forward, pure style of Margaux. 91% cabernet sauvignon with 9% merlot is also unique and accentuates the blue-fruit profile with the amphorae helping soften the tannins without imparting oak flavour. Floral and fascinating. Drink from 2033 to 2043. 13%

Château Haut-Batailley, Pauillac 2025

Code: CM34641
Red
Haut-Batailley was purchased by the Cazes family of Lynch-Bages and Ormes de Pez fame in 2017, and we all felt this was the best vintage we’ve tasted since. Appealing upfront notes of black fruit and lightly toasted spices and a hint of salinity, with a tight and direct palate and violet floral notes. A really strong showing and a wine that’ll age brilliantly. Drink from 2035 to 2045. 13.4%
£210.00 Case of 6 (£46.67/litre)

Château Roc de Cambes, Côtes de Bourg 2025

Code: CB7581
Red
The most famous property in the Côtes de Bourg, owned by the indefatigable François Mitjavile of the legendary Tertre Roteboeuf in Saint-Emilion. Opulent, smoky and savoury, this is an impressive Bourg with a rounded palate, sweet fruit and plenty of spice. Totally unique and well worth the premium in this underappreciated appellation. Drink from 2030 to 2040. 14%
£264.00 Case of 6 (£58.67/litre)

Château Talbot, Saint-Julien 2025

Code: CM34731
Red
A Talbot that does everything we could hope for – classically framed with fine, dusty tannins, moderate weight, impressive intensity and a linear, savoury finish. Old-school claret with modern charm from a deservedly popular name. Drink from 2032 to 2043. 13%
£216.00 Case of 6 (£48.00/litre)

Clos du Clocher, Pomerol 2025

Code: CS14271
Red
One of the hidden gems of the right bank. This is a small yet fabulously located property on the Pomerol plateau right underneath the eponymous church bell, with La Fleur-Pétrus to one side and Le Pin and Trotanoy to the other. The deep clay soils found here helped retain water during the drought and have contributed to a powerful and spicy Clos du Clocher with plenty of blueberry fruit and impressive breadth on the palate. Drink from 2030 to 2040. 13.4%
£246.00 Case of 6 (£54.67/litre)

Clos du Marquis, Saint-Julien 2025

Code: CM34861
Red
Also owned by the Delon family and located just across the road from their famed ‘super second’, Château Léoville Las Cases, Clos du Marquis often flies under the radar, which is surprising given its location and quality. Similar to Las Cases, thanks to its location on the Pauillac border, the 2025 is a hugely compact and muscular Saint-Julien, with a dense, powerful tannin structure and real vivacity and freshness in the fruit. A powerful, hedonistic wine, it will age brilliantly. Drink from 2035 to 2050. 13.6%
£207.00 Case of 6 (£46.00/litre)

Château Beau-Séjour Becot, Saint-Emilion 2025

Code: CS14261
Red
A new wine to our offer in 2025 following a hugely impressive visit earlier in the year. This property is well situated just a stone’s throw from Château Canon and Beauséjour, and overlooking Angelus. There’s been significant investment both in the winery and in the vineyards over recent years, and the wines have improved dramatically. The relatively young vines mean the 2025 isn’t the biggest nor the most muscular, but it’s one of the most perfumed and pretty Saint-Emilions of the vintage, with gorgeously scented aromas of violets and wild berries, and a lithe, pristine, charming palate brimming with red liquorice and cherry fruit. Impressive. Drink from 2032 to 2040. 14%
£270.00 Case of 6 (£60.00/litre)

Château Berliquet, Saint-Emilion 2025

Code: CS14331
Red
Berliquet is a stunning Saint-Emilion property located between Belair-Monange and Canon, and is run by the same team as the latter, with Nicolas Audebert in control. The potential of this site has been known for years and, after significant improvements in the vineyard over the last decade, the wine is now fulfilling it. The 2025 is bright and lifted on the nose, and there’s impressive volume on the palate alongside distinct salinity and crunchy red-berry fruits. Charming and with great drive. Drink from 2030 to 2045. 14%
£204.00 Case of 6 (£45.33/litre)

Château Duhart-Milon Rothschild, Pauillac 2025

Code: CM35041
Red
From the same stable as Château Lafite Rothschild and in a similar vein to the flagship wine, this is a linear, mineral Pauillac with moderate weight on the palate but with a tight and energetic, almost nervy core. A blend of 73% cabernet sauvignon and 27% merlot, and at just 12.7%, this is a classic Duhart that’ll be best after at least ten years from vintage. Drink from 2033 to 2048. 12.7%
