Chiroubles La Scandaleuse, Domaine Bernard Métrat 2019

Red Wine from France - Beaujolais
Almost pinot noir-like with its delicately perfumed bouquet, this is a highly appealing Beaujolais Cru offering from Domaine Métrat, a property better known for its Fleurie wines. This is scented Chiroubles at its very best.

Lightish crimson. Beautifully scented with bright, red fruit and lead pencil. A sour but attractive freshness, light, fine tannins with a slightly chewy finish. Good value. 16/20
