Jaboulet's La Chapelle is one of the world's most iconic wines, originating from the famed Hermitage hill in the northern Rhône. Caroline Frey's penultimate vintage at this highly revered estate, this 2023 vintage produces a juicy, charming and succulent style of syrah that proves to be a delight in youth, but has the structure and substance to cellar for many years to come. From a blend of the best sites on the hill, including Les Bessards, Le Méal, Varogne and Les Rocoules, this is imbued with a certain power and mineral backbone. Drink from 2029 to 2040. 14%
