Red Wine from South Africa - Coastal Region
From Old Vine Certified vines planted in 1978 in the cool Darling appellation, on the coast to the west of the Swartland, this is the perfect partner to Alex Milner's Stellenbosch Cinsault, showing paler colour and greater purity of fruit as opposed to the spicy, more savoury Stellenbosch iteration. Cranberry, crushed strawberry, redcurrant and citrus notes with a light floral nose typify this seriously classy red that could be easily mistaken for premium pinot noir.
