Pinot Noir, Domaine Boxler 2023
From a top Alsace estate, Jean Boxler cannot put a foot wrong and remains a talented winemaker for whites and reds. This pinot is aged in barrel for 18 months which provides a touch of spice. Plenty of red-berry fruits and savoury spice are supported by fine-grained, but present tannins on a red that comes from purely granite soils. Drink from 2026 to 2036.
