Brothers Pierre and Jean Gonon are leading growers in Saint-Joseph with cellars just down the road from Chave. Their 2010 is dark and powerful with ripe, blackberry-like fruit and a positive structure that has served it well and makes it similar to 2005 but maybe with the charm of 2006. A conspicuous success.
