From Sicilian bush vine carricante grown at 800m, on the northern slopes of Etna on stony, light sandy soils this is a beautifully elegant volcanic white. Delicately fragrant with lemon verbena, sage and salted pistachios, lifted by racy acidity and a linear precision.

Made from 100% nero mascalese grown at 800m on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, this is a wild, volcanic wine. Pale ruby in appearance, it's taut, tart and scented, with great poise and energy, and an underlying ferrous minerality. Strawberry, wild-herb, and sour-cherry flavours are lifted by the bright acidity on this thrilling Sicilian red, while savoury tannins grip on the finish.

This producer is a specialist in the arneis grape so well adapted to the sandy soils of Roero in Italy's Piedmont region. Concentrated lemon-rind, grapefruit, wax and mineral notes with great freshness and finesse.

This medium-bodied lagrein, a grape local to Alto Adige, has an inky violet and black-fruit nose, with bright acidity and well-integrated tannins supporting the blackberry and savoury bresaola flavours that emerge on the finish. It is made by Hofstätter, a benchmark family estate renowned for its meticulous vineyard work and precise, terroir-driven wines.
