This family estate dates to 1581, but its modern rise began when Willi Bründlmayer returned from spending time in Burgundy in the 1980s, bringing with him a focus on terroir and precision that helped shape Austrian fine wine today. He now leads the winery with his wife, Edwige, supported by Master of Wine Andreas Wickhoff. The wines strike a perfect balance, combining generous fruit with pristine structure, and are consistently among Austria’s most highly regarded.
