Trimbach: the top wines

The Trimbach family have a long history of winemaking in Alsace, dating back to 1626. They have some of the most sought-after vineyards, many of which are grand cru, in the region and make some thrilling wines, including the iconic cuvée Clos St Hune. We are excited about offering Trimbach’s latest releases of grand cru rieslings that are bone-dry, ageworthy and show some of the very best that Alsace can offer. Tragically winemaker Pierre Trimbach died at the start of the year, with 2025 being his last vintage. The estate is good hands as Pierre’s nephew, Julien, had been working with him and under his guidance since 2014.

Order by midday, Tuesday 10th November

We are offering a mix of vintages, all similar in profile; sunny, dry and warm with the resulting wines having great generosity. The grapes come from old vines of 50+ years, yields are extremely low, the soils are complex and there is a high attention to detail at the estate. This all results in wines that have salinity and a mineral backbone that is quite outstanding.

These wines are being offered in very small volumes, although we have slightly more of the Geisberg and the Schlossberg. We are unlikely to be able to offer these wines in the future, so I would secure your allocation now.
