Flinty, fine and focused chardonnay from arguably the best winery in North Canterbury, New Zealand. The nose is savoury and reductive, with gunflint and succulent stone fruit notes. The palate is fine but has texture, with smart phenolic character which helps to contribute to the impressive structure. Decant.
