The Society's Exhibition Pouilly-Fumé 2023
White Wine from France - Loire
The elegant 2023 vintage in the Loire, made for us by Sophie Landrat-Guyollot, blends predominantly flint with a touch of sandy soils in this fresh and balanced vintage. The flint soils bring smoky minerality, length and freshness, whilst the sandy soils add some aromatic complexity. A gastronomic fine white with power, weight and class.

Landrat-Guyollot
Domaine Landrat-Guyollot is situated in the village of Les Berthiers in Pouilly-Fumé, in the central vineyards of the Loire. It has been owned by the same family for ten generations, unusually passed on from mother to daughter. The current owner is Sophie Landrat-Guyollot.
The 13 hectares of vineyards are planted on soils of chalk, clay, limestone and marl. The delicate sauvignon blanc grapes are fermented at low temperatures in order to preserve the fine fruit flavours typical of the Pouilly terroir.
The Society’s Exhibition Pouilly-Fumé comes from this domaine and is elegant and restrained in style.
The Sunday Times
This dry sauvignon has an impressive depth and length of flavour. Pair with shellfish and white meats.
