A field blend of 100 year old vines and produced only six times to date, Capela (or ‘Chapel’) is one of the Douro’s great micro-terroir wines. Aromas of violet, rosehip, sweet spice and dark chocolate lead into a palate of incredible depth and structure. Drier and more restrained than many Vintage Ports, it combines graphite, cigar box and peppery complexity with vivid fruit, fresh acidity and a long, beautifully spiced finish. Tiny quantities.
