Newcastle upon Tyne - Festive Favourites - walkaround tasting
Join us for a fabulously festive selection of drinks, bringing you wines and spirits for all your seasonal needs from drinks parties and gifting to food and wine pairing ideas and special bottles for celebrating. There will also be live Christmas choral music to kick the festive season off in style.
Please note: this event will start at 6.30pm and end at 9pm, due to an earlier Evensong service at the Cathedral.
Christmas celebrations cover all manner of occasions from family dinners and drinks parties with friends or colleagues to having something delicious to sip while writing cards and wrapping presents. If you are looking to be the host with the most, for the perfect wine gift or for something to bring out for yourself to savour once the guests have gone, this is the walkaround tasting for you!
We have put together a selection of wines and spirits that will offer something for every festive celebration, however formal or informal, along with ideas for food and wine pairing. We also have an octet of singers accompanying the evening with suitably seasonal tunes – we hope you can join us for an evening of Christmas cheer!
