Undurraga TH Leyda Syrah 2022
Lovely cool climate syrah from Undurraga's own coastal Leyda vineyards, with black cherry and black pepper aromas, and fresh tense and vibrant palate. Made from an excellent vineyard planted at a high density for Chile, 10,000 vines/ha, on individually staked vines. with French clones 174 and 470. 15% whole bunch fermentation contributes freshness. 12 months maturation in 5,000-litre foudres softens the tannins without contributing oak flavour.
