Greywacke 'Wild' Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2023

White Wine from New Zealand - Marlborough
5.000000000 star rating 1 Reviews
An iconic sauvignon blanc to challenge many people's perceptions of Marlborough sauvignon. Produced by regional icon Kevin Judd, who played a significant role in establishing the reputation enjoyed by Marlborough fine wines today thanks to his time at Cloudy Bay during its heyday and then his outstanding wines made at Greywacke. This sauvignon is fermented in old oak, using wild yeasts, which has imparted notable texture and complexity, with bold passionfruit and rosemary notes on the nose, with toasted brioche and an attractive savoury character. A creamy medium body, with peach, melon and savoury flavours lead to a delicious and complex finish.
