The bone-dry brigade will appreciate muscadet, albariño, many Italian and Portuguese varieties and Bordeaux sauvignon, while others prefer the element of fullness delivered by most chardonnay, or even the richness of some Loire chenins, Alsace pinot gris and gewurz.
