Tiny yields at this leading Saint-Julien estate, combined with some of the smallest berries they have ever seen, have contributed to one of the most concentrated, deeply fruited, and structured wines of the appellation, and certainly one of the best. Dark bramble and cassis meet pencil shavings and fresh tobacco notes, with a palate that is concentrated, nuanced, tightly grained, and supremely elegant. For a wine of such concentration, limited availability, and ageing potential to be released at the same price as the 2024 makes this one of the best buys of the vintage.
